“His eyes settled on her…piercing green embers of flame that revealed the ferocity of his pain and passion, yet still shrouded him under veils of ever deepening mystery that made every ounce of her ache to unravel him.”
Tegan Lockwood’s dreams were dead, sacrificed on the noble altar of duty before they ever had a chance to live. Her entire existence was disappearing into the abyss of apathy as she labored her days away keeping her family’s struggling business alive. There would be no emotion, no color, no beauty in her life. That is, until a mysterious visitor begins to draw her out of the darkness of her past towards something that will challenge the boundaries of her world, and unlock the most deeply held secrets of her heart.

Dallas Coryell is a musician and author residing deep in the untamed wilds of Michigan, USA, where he desperately attempts to assign meaning to his world through bouts of maniacal creative catharsis and pitifully doomed hopeless romantic fantasies. All of the songs written by the characters in this novel are real and can be viewed on the author’s fledgling YouTube channel: Selfies and other

Sometimes all you need is someone who believes in you and teaches you that love can heal all wounds. 'Melody's Key' is a story about growing up, learning that people are more than just what you can see at plain sight and that life is full of surprises.

Tegan is a lovely girl, she gave up her dreams of attending college to stay home and help her family with their business. One summer a famous singer arrives at their place and at first she thinks he's all that magazines says. Of course, Mason is more than just a sexy singer and has demons of his own.

I adored the characters, Tegan is really human and feels like a real person. Her bunch of brother and sisters are all great and hilarious. Her friend, Simon is adorable and I think was one of the best from the book. I liked how Mason is portrayed and his evolving is natural.

The romance is sweet and innocent at first. Both of them are broken somehow and they need to trust each other before move on beyond a friendship. Their pasts hide many secrets and suffering. Then,  little by little they help to heal and let go of the fears, doubts and the what if?.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book and as a romance, it's a really good choice.

I had my life all planned out...until I met him. Kenny Honana is sexy and alluring. Mysterious. I'd always been drawn to the Native American heritage, and now I found myself dream-deep in a supernatural tribal ritual. Little did I know, his vision quest would involve me in a sexual odyssey beyond my wildest dreams. But when the quest is over...what becomes of us?
Paul Lonardo has published both fiction and non-fiction. He has had titles excerpted in Reader’s Digest and reviewed in Publisher’s Weekly.

FROM THE ASHES became the basis of a 2013 documentary web series, THE STATION, which he produced. Paul was interviewed as part of NBC’s documentary program featuring the true crime story depicted in his book CAUGHT IN THE ACT.

'Enchanted Desire' is a hot and magical romance. Shanna is not happy with her relationship and some recent events are taking its toll on her. One day she walks into a strange shop and meets an intense and sexy man. Somehow she starts to have vivid and sensual dreams with him that turn her life around.

The story behind the mysterious dolls is intriguing and the native American folklore gives the plot a really solid background. The writing is really good and the characters are quite interesting.

This one is a short story, it will only take you a few minutes-hours to read. The intensity and passion of the story will catch you and won't let you go.

Marianne Jones is a retired teacher, actor, and choir director from the wilds of Northwestern Ontario. Married, with two amazing daughters and two gorgeous granddaughters, she writes, blogs and celebrates life. Margaret and Louise are attending a retreat when an intriguing murderer hits the town. Curiosity will get the best of them and they will get involved in solving the mystery behind who is the killer.

This is a fast, enjoyable and light mystery that will only take you a couple hours to read. I really enjoy the dynamic between the two friends and their sweet fights over the dog and the places they are going to sleep. The book is well written and the descriptions are quite ok.

Review: Carved in Stone

TITLE: Carved in Stone: Monochrome Destiny
AUTHOR: T. L. Blake
RELEASE DATE: July 12th, 2015
SOURCE: complimentary copy.

Determined science teacher, Robyn Darrow, has started a new life in the sleepy rural idyll of Porthmollek. But Porthmollek has sinister secrets and outsiders are most definitely not welcome. Handsome, but arrogant, Andrew Obursen knows all too well that there is rot in the small town, but he has his own reasons for keeping quiet and Robyn is the last person that he would ever open up to. When fate drags the two together after the mysterious disappearance of a colleague, Robyn and Andrew think that their only problem is the unwanted attraction that sizzles passionately between them. But it soon becomes obvious that the disappearance was no accident and that Robyn and Andrew may, in fact, be next. . .
Please note that this book contains adult sex scenes, violence and swearing.

T L Blake is from Gloucestershire, England.  She has a University degree in Biochemistry and Physiology and has had a full and varied career in both research and secondary education.  Now that she is responsible for a young family she is finally indulging in her passion for writing, stealing precious minutes whenever she can.
With an avid interest in the arcane, T L Blake’s books all share dark fantasy themes whether those themes are backed by solid science like in the Monochrome Destiny series, or are set in wholly fictitious worlds like her upcoming Guardians series.
All of T L Blake’s books also share the theme of romance and super hot sex.

This is the story of Robyn, a school teacher who has a rough start in a small rural town. She and her friend are new in the town and some of the people don't like outsiders. Another colleague bullies her in order to make her leave but she won't give him the satisfaction. One day her friend goes on a trip and doesn't come back, from then on she will try to figure out what happen to her while discovering that the town has more secrets than she thought.

The book has a slow start in my opinion, somewhere around half of it the story started to be more interesting and I devoured the rest of the book. The last chapters are quite dark and intense, the plot takes an interesting twist and I found the idea quite original.

The romance between Robyn and Andrew is one of the good things from this book. They feel attracted but her fears don't allow her to follow her heart. And also, there are some secrets that prevent Andrew to really be with her. Of course, once they get together is really sweet and passional. I like their dynamic and want to know what's next for them.

This is the first of a planned trilogy so you can expect a cliffhanger at the end of the story.
