ADD TO GOODREADS

Isabelle Jenkins has always been a sucker for romance…in love with love. Despite the advent of M-Day, she found her place beside Brandon, a scientist looking for a cure to the virus that causes I-Men. When Brandon is ripped away from her, Izzy is forced to face the reality that maybe she’s been living her life in a bubble of denial.

After her loss, Izzy decides that it’s time for a brand new life. No longer will she be stupid and weak… No longer will the belief in love weaken her. But her new life brings an uninfected man who has different plans for her. Will Ty be able to break past the walls Izzy has erected? Or will Izzy decide taking a second chance at love isn’t worth the risk of losing it again?

If I thought M-Day was a great series with kick-ass heroins, I don't know how to describe N-Day. This is by far the best book in the series and mainly because the heroine of this book makes fun of everything that we love in romance novels.

Izzy, now Nyx, had to face Brandon's death in the previous book. For a woman who is in love of the idea of love, addicted to romance books and who believed love the ultimate goal, the blow of losing her lover was too much.

I think we all can relate to Izzy because she is a broken woman in the search of some fix. She is determined to become stronger and stop being the weak element on her group. Her decisions might not be the best but her mistakes make her more human and real.

I liked the new guy, Ty. Of course he is super sexy and handsome but also he is loyal, honest, protective and above all likeable. He is super funny and helps the story to move on.

As usual the story has a lot of surprises and shocking moments. I was not expecting anything that happened. It was mind blowing and super entertaining. The action never stops and you can’t put the book down.

If you have read the other books in the series, you know that the sex scenes tend to be intense, rushed and hot. N-Day is no exception and whenever the sexiness arrives you can almost feel the emotions. I really like when Izzy takes the reins and takes charge of the situation.

Like I said Izzy makes fun of romance and this was so refreshing and lovely. We romance lovers, are aware of the flaws or the unreality of some scenarios but we still love romance. And it was really funny to have a character that was so casual and enjoyed making fun of her “real life”.

Overall, N-Day is a perfect addition to the series. I can’t wait to read the next book. D.T. Dyllin has made me an addict to her books.
